Global iGaming Summit and Expo 2013 begins next week

A few weeks after New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie vetoed a gambling bill, the Garden State joined Delaware and Nevada among those who made online gambling legal. The governor had a change of heart after the initial bill was amended and the state will receive more money as a result of legalizing online casinos. Nationwide, many states debate this matter and although their opinions are divergent on several issues, most of them favor online gambling and could soon reach a critical mass.

This makes the annual Global iGaming Summit and Expo even more exciting and those who travel to San Francisco between April 23 and 25 should attend this event. For those who are even remotely interested in the future of online gambling, the topics that will be discussed of critical importance. The fact that prominent speakers are expected and some of the most important players in this industry will be present should provide the needed impetus to attend.

The issue of sports betting is going to be discussed in the first day, with online gambling software development group Amaya Gaming being the one to lead these debates. Online poker players have been deprived of the chance to play in online casinos without fearing the retaliation of law, but things could change in the foreseeable future. The aforementioned company will showcase its brand-new poker network and those who attend the GIGSE 2013 are invited to test drive their online solutions.

There will be plenty of smaller prizes awarded on a daily basis, with the most exciting ones including an iPad Mini that will be given to a participant on each day. The Global iGaming Summit and Expo promises to cover a broad spectrum of issues ranging from online gambling to land-based casinos, with the focus being on the changing legislation. Amaya Gaming has already prepared a list of topics that could be debated over the three days, and the schedule is available for those interested.

The discussions will go beyond legislation, and will include talks about multistate compacts and the opportunities for aggressive strategies and investment. Those who are already in this line of work would learn a great deal on April 24 about how to improve their customer retention rate, while being appealing to new clients. The event will end on April 25, when each and every single state that has adhered or makes significant steps towards legalizing online gambling will be discussed.
